I wouldn’t get a set. Go to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and get a medium sized frying pan with a lid. This will work for most things. The other pieces — small pan with sloped sides, saucepan, cookie sheet, casserole dish —will vary with what the dc is likely to cook.

Agree with this. Non-stick pan for eggs for sure, and a 2-qt pot for soup/pasta.

My DC will live off- campus this year and will do very little cooking (mainly heating soup and making eggs). Any recommendations for a small pot and pan set? TIA
