I don't think the shape of the limelights are all that heavily panicle. You can barely tell and they do well in sun.

No, they won’t be fine in full sun, unless you want to water twice a day during July-August. Go with a paniculata variety (limelight, little lime, strawberry sundae, etc.) for full sun.

I think they are sterile so not a good pollinator plant. I would select another variety like oak leaf of limelight.

Will Annabelle hydrangeas tolerate full sun? I want to line the swimming pool with them but it’s hot full sun. Are they shade lovers?
