Also, Frost will have cross country and soccer teams for 7th graders (on tryout basis)-- check the school's website (I don't know about Frost but at our school you really have to dig around to find info).
Our DCC MS has various IM teams for soccer, cross country etc, so guessing it's common but don't know about Frost.
