I just gave my unopened meds to my nurse at my fertility clinic and she accepted them. I don’t think there’s an official program, but she didn’t say they couldn’t give them to patients.

Oh geez. Was hoping to see some way to get clomid through a clinic or nonprofit.

I've heard that animal shelters may take syringes.

I gave mine to a friend that was starting IVF. Not totally legal, but also made it possible for her to afford a second cycle, so well worth it.

I called around two years ago when I did IVF and found that in DC the organization HIPS in NE takes insulin syringes. They probably would take the other stuff - just email and ask. There may be other shelters or places that help addicts that need syringes.

To clarify - I am not looking to do anything illegal, but I just finished a cycle and have leftover meds, syringes, gauze, and alcohol wipes. I am just wondering if there's a legal way for me to donate any of these supplies to those in need instead of just throwing it all out? I already called my doctor's office and the pharmacy, but they had no resources to suggest. I thought I'd ask in case there are programs/nonprofits I don't know about. I realize there may be nothing to do except throw away the meds, but perhaps the syringes/gauze/alcohol pads could be helpful to some healthcare nonprofit out there?
