Ptosis. I have that in one eye and may get the surgery for that reason. It's not that bad now but probably will impact my vision in the future.

+1. Bruiising was below eye, pooling blood. Slept with head elevated and bruising lasted 10 days. We t back to work after 3 days and was not embarrassed to say I had an eyelift. Results perfect! No insurance but totally worth it. However it does change your accustomed appearance, see the blowback that Renee Zellweger got at first.

I had an upper bleph done in April. Stitches in for 5 days. Bruising for probably 2 wks. Totally healed within 6 wks. Very happy with results.

If the eyelid, not brow, saw a brochure at eye Dr's on Thursday for prescription drops.

Beware. I had severely droopy lids (aka hooded eyes). Blue Cross wouldn’t cover cosmetic surgery even though my eye doctor said it was medically necessary for my vision. I spent $10 k on an eye lift. That did little. What I really need is a brow lift but I don’t have the $.

An eye lift is different. The dr cuts of part of your lid- the eyebrows are not affected.

You mean blepharaplasty removes some of the hood over the eyelid.

OP, sounds like this is what you need. I would go for it. Your case sounds pretty bad if it's affecting vision.

An eye lift is different. The dr cuts of part of your lid- the eyebrows are not affected.

Blepharoplasty is common and may even be covered by insurance if your vision is being impacted. My understanding is it’s not a huge recovery either. A family friend recently had it.

My eyelids are getting so droopy, they're pushing down on my eyes. What can be done? I think it's starting to affect my vision. Is there an anti inflammatory cream?
