What is your deductible for collision? Was the other driver fouls at fault by police — not that this is determinative for coverage?

How could there be no damage to the other car and yours has $3k of damage? Yes, they will raise your rates.

Our soon-to-be college student had a fender-bender -- no persons injured, no damage to the other vehicle, but an estimated $3000 in damage to our car (which he'll pay us back for over time). He is listed as a driver on our GEICO car insurance policy. If we submit the repair claim to GEICO, will GEICO raise our premium? If we remove from our policy as a regular driver, would that change the answer here?
