I love it! I can only think of 3 Vincents and I work in elementary schools. The few I know are 18-22.

I like it. There was a baby Vincent in our moms group and I thought it was great.

I love it! DH’s name is Vincent and it’s aged well with him. He was Vinnie when he was little, Vince to his buddies, and Vincent professionally.

But you have two excellent reasons to name your son Vincent: after an admired artist, and to honor a favorite uncle,

And Vincent is not a diminutive. It doesn’t have negative associations (“stripper name”). It’s not too popular. Not try hard.

Most importantly, you and your partner agree.

It reminds me of a gangster. But I don't know any Vincent's, and my knee-jerk reactions to names often change when faced with the beautiful baby who carries the name.

I love the name Vincent! It goes well with any number of Irish/English names.
