No I don't like being spoiled. I read reviews purely to see if it is a good movie but, I don't read spoilers. I want to be surprised.

I always read the last chapter 1st in books.

Otherwise no.

No, I do not. I avoid reading reviews or even googling anything about the actors because I don’t want spoilers. After I’m done with the series, then I’ll go down the rabbit hole of reviews and articles.

I want to know if there is death/dying in the movie. I don't like to be tricked, meaning enjoying a light, funny comedy or drama and then be hit by tragedy.

Have especially paid attention to spoilers with the idea of protecting my husband from storylines, like this, when he had cancer.

I sometimes get too emotionally invested in characters, and I’ve been blindsided in the past when a character is killed off (looking at you, Martha Grimes), so if I think there’s a danger of that, I will look up a plot synopsis or turn skim the last chapter.

With books, more of my enjoyment comes from the quality of the writing, anyway, so I don’t mind spoilers.

Not usually, but sometimes I look up spoilers if I'm watching something that's ancient history. Last year I binge-watched 380+ episodes of Grey's Anatomy and I certainly didn't see any reason to not spoil myself if I wanted to see what happened with a certain character or plot. At times, it kept me watching (not sure how anyone watched all that in real time).

I wouldn't do this with a movie, book or with a scripted show that I'm watching (more or less) in real time.

I don't watch much reality TV, but if I'm watching a day late, I might check twitter to see who went home on MasterChef or Bake Off or something.

Hate them for anything. We avoid them at all costs for things like mystery shows, "Stranger Things," etc. If anyone had spoiled the end of season one of "Severance" for me I'd have been quite bummed. Especially with things constructed to unspool stories in unexpected ways, spoilers defeat the point, for me.

Books and shows/movies I really like = never

Realty TV = always (but I’ll still watch if I like it)

Shows I’m meh about = usually

I love spoilers! Sometimes it's because I'm a little meh about a movie or book and will skip ahead to the end just to see if I want to finish all of it. Sometimes it's because whatever I'm watching/reading is suspenseful and knowing what happens at the end lets me relax and watch the rest.

It's not for everyone!

I like them.

I am finally watching Sons of Anarchy which I had heard about and read certain things and plot points. Before I invest into binging seven seasons, I am looking ahead to find out if I want to see it realized on film.

I mean I saw Titanic and Apollo 13 knowing how those ended.

I don’t really care either way. I want to know how we get there.

I like spoilers for stuff I’m never going to watch…like terrible movies with a plot twist they hype up in the commercials. I also like to find out the Masked Singer people without having to sit through the show itself.

I also don’t get the reading the last page thing. Why would you do that with a book you’re going to actually read?

Books, TV series, movies….? F’K NO!!

Reality TV like Big Brother (when I watched it)? Usually, yes.

I will never forgive you for spoiling a book for me. I don’t understand the appeal of looking at the last page of a book….like, at all.

Yes, I often do this with movies so I can decide if I want to keep watching it or go to bed. I also do it with TV shows for the same reason. Anything where I’m just watching to find out the plot, I’ll Wikipedia.

I also Wikipedia shows and movies my husband is watching so I can tune in and out.

When you time shift a tv show, do you read recaps ahead of time?

When you see a movie; do you like to read the plot or be spoiled?

Yes I was the one to turn to the final pages of a book to see where the plot was going, so I love spoilers!
