FB is solid but fyi all their breads are sourdough-based. Not my favorite, so I go to Boulangerie Christophe in Potomac or Bread Furst in NW instead.

Thanks! I love the garden roll idea with peanut sauce. Yum! It’s funny because they are gluten free!

I’m looking at bakeries in Rockville and striking out.

I would have some pasta— spaghetti with a simple sautéed tomatos and basil sauce, or maybe linguini with pine nuts and garlic, or shrimp and lemon.
I’d have a side of good baguette and simple mixed green salad.

I love Great Harvest Bread.

My husband and I are enjoying a blissful few weeks with our multiple food allergic children at sleep-away camp. We avoid gluten and nuts at home and have a rare opportunity to make something with these items that is delicious.

About us:
--We avoid cheese due to saturated fat content, but small amounts of dairy are fine.
--We live close to Safeway and TJ's.
--We crave good, crusty bread. Can this be purchased somewhere in Rockville?
--We love all fruits and vegetables except mushrooms and zucchini

I am thinking of some dinner with a loaf of bread that is summery and delicious. Any ideas?
