DP. Not a Korean American but I enjoy Korean media. Not sure why this is surprising to you. K dramas in particular have been popular for quite a while.

I actually started googling to find a whale watching tour!

A reddit poster cited a CNN story that for the week of July 4th, EAW was the most watched non-English language show on Netflix and the #1 Netflix show in 8 countries.

Netflix has had a lot of success with some pretty dark Korean dramas (Squid Game, DP-- both excellent), so I'm glad to see this one also getting high ratings. It means Netflix will continue to invest in Korean programming, but they won't see the darker/grittier dramas as their sole bread and butter.

I’ve watched too many Kdramas after Crash Landing This drama is probably in my top 1 or 2. The acting, writing, visuals and production are so well done - and the story just keeps hitting your heart - joy and some tears but overall puts you in a better place. Whales now bring a smile

17:38 poster here. Yes, that's another really good one. Our Blues and My Liberation Notes were also really good. It's been a terrific few months for Kdramas, all on Netflix, thankfully.

Korean fashion reminds me a little of the French. Not a specific style, but just stylish with an extra something.
