Ham steaks are so easy to cook, just put in a skillet with the juices from the package. About 4-5 min per side and ready to serve. Currently with twin 10 yo, one large ham steak, which just fits into our 14" skillet will work. I expect that in a few years, it will be two ham steaks, 1.5 for the boys and 0.5 fo the parents. But at least they are easy to cook. Add in potatoes of choice (mashed, roasted, baked). If I'm really in a hurry, my kids love instant mashed potatoes, so that's a time saver for when I don't have time to cook potatoes and mash them.

cuban style pork shoulder (do in instant pot) pair with any/all: rice with peas/carrots, black beans, plantains (frozen goya ones) spicy sauce, pickled onions.

Mine loves lentil and cheese enchiladas but you could do it with meat and potatoes in them too.

I also like risotto style farro made with vegetarian better than bullion—very filling side to any meat.

Cook pork shoulder in crock pot in a beer with oregano garlic and salt. Shred it, make one meal with bbq sauce on rolls, and fry leftovers in olive oil with onions for quick carnitas taco.

Korean ground beef bowls over rice

Caramelized brown sugar ground pork served over rice/noodles or in rice paper

Chicken thighs thrown in a pressure cooker with TJ low salt salsa - I don’t remember if it’s the chile verde or hatch chili, but comes in a glass jar. Serve as tacos or as a rice bowl.

Two of my son's favorites other than burgers, and easy to make.

I like to make a huge pot of chicken thighs (in the instpot or slow cooker), season, shred and then divide into two shredded chicken's one with BBQ, the other with Franks Red Hot Sauce. The boys eat pulled chicken sandwiches throughout the week as needed while I'm at work, or after I go to bed. Easy and filling for lunch or snacks.

Roast chicken, simple stuffing (e.g., saute onions and stale bread cubes and sage), veg of choice

Toad in the hole

Shredded chicken (good for leftover roast chicken from above) with couscous, dried apricots, almonds, and peas

Sausage, potatoes and onions, seasoned and fried in a cast iron skillet. Sometimes I add cabbage or red peppers, it just depends on what I have on hand. Teen boys can't get enough.

My DS really like basic meat & potatoes dishes: pasta with meat sauce, chicken drumsticks, steak. I need a couple more to put into my rotation! Any ideas? Just simple, tasty, meaty.
