We’ve packed lunchbox charcuterie and it’s gone over well. Everyone gets their own lunch sized container of meat, cheese, crackers, fruit, nuts, whatever you want. Easy to pass out, easy cleanup, no utensils or trash. We also usually bring a big bunch of grapes. There’s just something very satisfying about eating cold grapes at the beach. My sister likes freezing them.

+1 for sandwiches, watermelon, and chips. I like turkey and cheese or Italian sausage on a hotdog bun, PB and honey for my kids.

We like to eat at beach shacks if there's a good one nearby, but if we pack a lunch it's usually sandwiches (ham or turkey and cheese on Hawaiian rolls, or sometimes I do wraps with veggie cream cheese, turkey, and sliced cucumber), chips, and cut watermelon in a cooler. Keep it simple.

What are your favorite foods to pack to eat on the beach? I would love some prepared options too…
