I also voted for Glass and Sayles. Glass because he cares. Sayles because she's upcounty.

O'Malley for Attorney General because she has a clue.

Max Uy for Sheriff because he's great. Very much a continuation of the culture of the current Sheriff's office, which is fantastic.

Tom DeGonia for State's Attorney. To modernize prosecutions, better track data, care about racially disproportionate case outcomes caused by the State's Attorney (they can't control external factors), but to also work with police to ensure the truly bad guys don't get let out for no reason.

Same. I like that MD has had a moderate Republican governor to balacne the progressive Dem legislature. Forces both sides to compromise.

The mail voting is really going to screw with the election results. Moore will have a solid lead tonight, as EV skews progressive in MD. But mail voting is much more moderate.

Pro Franchot without a doubt. He's going to be a guaranteed 3rd place after election night because the vote is heavily over 65 / moderate in MD. The question will be "how heavy" ...

Moore will be a good chunk as well, but not as heavy as Peter. And Perez will have very little of the mail, so unless he has a nice lead after election night, he has no path come Wednesday morning.

You can take a look at the Cuellar / Cisneros election(s) to see how progressive the ED vote is vs. the mail and how moderate the mail is vs. the ED. There's a very real chance that on election night, Franchot has not won a single county and he ends up with 60% of them won by election end.

Franchot for Governor, in terms of someone who is willing to work across the aisle. That was probably borne out of the practicality of being in State government for so long. He also got a lot of split ticket votes - people voting for Hogan for Gov but Franchot for controller. It’s usually a good sign of appealing to a wide variety of voters.

But, frankly, I think pretty much all of the candidates have universally progressive views on both social and economic policies.
