I had this and was told that I did not have to wait to try after the procedure. I even had to have my cervix probed once every 2 weeks for six weeks after the procedure to keep the adhesions from reforming and my doctor said I could keep trying during that period of time as well. Are they planning to do a repeat hysteroscopy in two months to check if the adhesions reformed and will clear you after that?

I’ve not specifically had this procedure. I’ve had a hysteroscopy for other reasons, as well as other uterine procedures. Usually you are on pelvic rest for a few weeks following them (no sex) to prevent infection etc. in my experience they have thrown off my menstrual cycle and delayed my period for a few weeks.

Does anyone have experience with hysteroscopy for removal of uterine adhesions? I did a search and found some older topics that were helpful in terms of knowing what to expect, but my specific question is about how long I have to take off from trying after the procedure.

A few of the posts I have found said that they got pregnant on the next cycle, but my RE says we have to take two months off before being cleared to try again. Thanks so much for any insight as I’d love to advocate to try again in a month if it’s a possibility!
