The rules state that timers and stopwatches are prohibited. So a watch that has those functions is prohibited.
If your student doesn’t turn it in, it’s not that the watch gets confiscated. Your student would be escorted out and their score cancelled.
Don’t buy something to help your kid cheat. The use of timers on the SAT is cheating.
