Don’t do this OP. Disney does not allow outside tour guide companies and hasn’t for years.

We’ve done the VIP tour twice.
Just stay wherever you want. We stayed at Loews royal pacific because we were combining with a universal trip. But I love the animal king own house jambo village—I can see doing a day with the vip tour and then a day just hanging out at the lodge with a savannah view. Or stay at the four seasons.

Of course there’s also the new Star Wars hotel-I haven’t been but have firiends that have. That is an immersive experience itself so it would be a waste of money to combine it with a vip tour. If you wanted o do both, I would do the Star Wars place then move to a different hotel the night before your VIP day.

Another valid question is whether you want to do multiple days with the VIP guide. We did one day with guide and hit 4 parks each time (skipping Epcot the first time and skipping MK the second time). If you’re the typical disney vacationer, I’d actually suggest using vip for MK, HS and the popular rides at Epcot, then taking a day to do AK yourself with LL for avatar, and then maybe a half day to explore Epcot’s world pavilion leisurely. If you stay at AKL, that would make a nice 4 day trip.

6 yrs ago is a lifetime ago...prices have sky rocketed and they're now nickle & dime you for everything (parking overnight at hotel, LL, tightened magic hours, etc).

The hourly rate is at least $700-$800 (maybe more, it depends on your dates, busier times are more) and there is a 7 hour minimum as you stated. This does not inclulde food, tickets, or hotel. This is just the guide and the front of the line access. So minimum $5k/day for the guide, before any other costs.

If you are planning on paying for a VIP tour guide each day, just contact Disney directly. Then book one of the Deluxe hotels (Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, or Animal Kingdom Lodge.) Just pick the theme you like best, location doesn't matter if you are having a tour guide (Suburban service.)

We didn't use a travel agent. We stayed at either the Animal Kingdom Lodge or Saratoga Springs Resort in a suite, and hired a VIP person to walk us around.

I recall seeing a service where for like $50K or something, Elon Musk will design your itinerary and join you for a couple of rides. Is that what you’re asking about OP?

We are planning a trip to Disney on 2023 and plan on getting the VIP concierge service and would like to stay in a super nice place. Does anyone have a rec for a travel agent who specializes in Disney VIP experiences and trips?
