ok - just hired the guy for the guest house. This was the best idea eva' Now I can put my mother-in-law in a place with no central air!

My kids have tried at least three in the wild, like the one at one of the HoCo fields, and they haven't found one they like better than an actual building, like our local school. I would just build a building like a guesthouse or a poolhouse, with at least one long windowless wall. Townhouse floorplans should be good for no-side-window ideas.

We rigged our old bounce with a piece of plywood.

There’s newer bounce backs that give a very fast return bounce. One is allballpro.com, the other is laxworx.com. Worth checking out to see if it could work for your needs.

Then I would buy 4 or occasionally drive them to a school when it’s not in session to find a wall. Putting a permanent structure that no one else could use when you sell the house sounds crazy. Unless you build a huge storage shed or extra garage on your 4 acres and have the sides be these walls.

OP here. We have a bounce-back but it’s just not a great return bounce. We also have 4 kids who play lacrosse and all want to do wall ball at the same time. Trying to find some info on how to build a wall - is there someone locally who has built them? How big? Etc…

We used wood not concrete and it has held up 4-5 years so far. I didn't want to go through the trouble of using concrete and then have it not right b/c concrete is hard to adjust.

A bounce back isn't the same...wall ball is better for skill building according to my husband. It bounces the ball back faster and makes it more challenging.

My husband did. I couldn't even tell you how he did it, but it involved pouring concrete. It was an eye sore, so I convinced him to break it down and have her use the side of our brick faced house. He had to build up the ground next to the house due to a slope using retaining walls, but that was definitely the better solution.

Do you live out in the country? Because that’s going to drive any neighbors you may have absolutely nuts.

My neighbor did put but it's just stacked concrete blocks on his hardscaping and looks pretty janky
