Subject: COVID funds used to build homeless shelter in DC? Let's build additional opportunity centers
If the Federal Govt does not care the Mayor can spend the funds on anything she wants.
It is not as if any businesses closed in DC due to COVID or a lack or relief funds.
Unless there is ever an audit of Federally received funds, they may as well go into the city's general fund. And President Biden is never going to ask Mayor Bowser why she is spending Federal dollars on her pet projects.

can this concept be expanded and can we simply build homeless residential treatment facilities and opportunity centers with COVID funds? The President is asking for another round of COVID funding from the Federal Government. Why can't DC divert additional COVID funds to additional DC homeless opportunities.
