I think it would be hard to return to mandatory masking at this point. Do you expect them to in the Fall?
DS isn’t complaining which is huge. I think he secretly doesn’t mind it. The half days really help as does not having any homework or demands. The academics do seem low but that was what we were told when he registered. For our DS this was more about not having a summer slide and it seems effective for that.

My child is going into 5th grade and was really upset that I signed her up. And she was not quiet about it! She's not complaining too much anymore which I am taking as a positive, but also not thrilled. She likes the teacher a lot and enjoys both "mask" break and a read-aloud, but is saying that the actual math and reading are really boring.
What is everyone else hearing?
