Raise your metabolism and/or lower your caloric intake.

It's actually pretty simple, nothing magical or mysterious with what needs to be done.

Cut out the starches (bread, rice, pasta, all processed foods), no alcohol - none. Eating window should be between 11am-7pm.

Gut fat is just still fat and will go away when you eat less food than you’d need to maintain your current weight. Lower your calorie intake to a deficit large enough to lose weight.

You have to exercise at least 5 times a week--cardio and weights.

I cut out booze and bread (wheat products) and my stomach was smaller within a week. Adding in weight training and light cardio (running 1-2 miles) three times a week, on top of eating mostly fruits and vegetables, helped as well

Gender, age, food allergies, and hormones matter. if you do it naturally the gut is always the last to go.

Recommended - See a nutritionist and have your labs done . Get tested for food allergies, even if you think you have none. Increase the water and fiber in your diet.

High protein and low carb is the way to go. I also only eat between 12-6pm. No booze. Drink a ton of water.

Getting divorced during a pandemic has led to some weight gain for me. Was drinking more than normal and I also WFH now so I'm pretty sedentary. Gained about 15 pounds, most of it in my gut. I was randomly asked out today. Ready to start dating again. Wondering how to quickly lose at least the gut while I start walking more during the day/exercising for longterm weight loss.
