Cuisinart CPK-17 for the win. Much safer than a glass kettle IMO because it won't shatter if you drop it and glass kettles get super-hot on the sides.

Pro tip -- when you first buy it, get clear nail polish and carefully paint two coats on the temperature control numbers. Those wear off with time otherwise.

I also think the Cuisinart looks good (as previous poster mentioned).

We like a quick pour for our french press. We bought and returned at least 5 pots before we got this one. It turns out that the traditional design is the one that feels right when we pour from it. We also like that we don't have to have it on the stove (where it sat taking up real estate and also got dirty when we cooked other things).

My old one the water used to touch plastic it did not have the stainless inner wall. I realized it was probably smarter to not drink hot water from a heated plastic container daily, so I upgraded.

We have a Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Gooseneck Kettle - Pour-Over Coffee and Tea Pot, Stainless Steel, Quick Heating, Polished Copper, 0.9 Liter.

It is wonderful. If you're looking for a coffee grinder, I'd recommend a Baratza Encore Coffee Grinder. It also is wonderful.

I have this and it’s amazing.

I also bought the ode grinder from fellow—also amazing.

I looked for just that kind! This is the one I finally bought. The neck does not allow for a quick pour, however. It forces you into delicate and elegant pouring

Unfortunately, it's not available right now.

The Cuisinart is always highly rated. The interior is stainless. I suppose the view windows could be plastic but maybe it’s glass. I love mine either way.

I also have a cheaper Mr. Coffee one at work that’s also stainless on the inside.

We have a less fancy version of this Bonavita gooseneck. The top part of the handle can be seen from the inside but it shouldn't touch your water unless you fill it way up to the top.
