I am 34 and just went through a similar conversation with my doctor. It is my understanding that no there is not a huge difference but there would be a difference between say 35 and 37. The data groupings I feel like are most common are under 35, 35-37 and over 37. 37 is when my doctor said he starts to recommend PGT testing. Lastly as a thought, if you are waiting that long and a resident of Maryland, consider signing up for insurance through the Maryland exchange during open enrollment if you do not already have ivf coverage!

DP. Make sure you qualify this by looking at results for patients with a diagnosis of PCOS. Women with PCOS are typically high responders to stims.

Look up a chart of # eggs retrieved by age of mother or # embryos by age of mothers. Yes 6 months makes a difference but not a big difference.

Yes I was told 6 mo is statistically significant when I did ivf but I was older 38

6 months probably not. 3 years? More probable. My numbers declined modestly between my fertility treatments with both my kids- was 28 when trying for my first and 31 with my second.

No. I wouldn’t think 6 months at your age would make much difference, especially with PCOS being your issue.
