Subject: Coffee Drinkers, Come in: K-Cups or Ground?
Ground in a pour over is the right answer in my opinion. K cups are terrible for the environment and don’t taste that good to boot. The refillable ones seem too complicated to me.

I couldn’t cut out Starbucks until I found an alternative that was just as frictionless. Ground coffee was too much work. Instant is so much easier. I usually mix 1 T of Tasters Choice House Blend with 4oz. of hot water and pour it over ice. Finish with a little while milk. I know it wasn’t what you were thinking of, but I wanted to mention it as an option.

I don't drink coffee for flavor. I drink to stay awake. However, I grind my own beans and use a reusable k-cup filter.

We just did an AirBNB that only had a Keurig. The coffee it made was just horrible. Coffee from 7-11 is better!

I use a French press or chemex. K cups taste horrible to me and I would only drink that if I had no other choice.

I’m not a coffee snob, but think k cups make terrible coffee.

I use a kettle and a pour over cone with a paper filter. Other than the bag coffee came in, it’s all compostable.

+1
K cups are a LOT of waste to go through each day.

I am identifying ways to cut back, and my daily Dunkin run is next on the chopping block. In your opinion, what is the difference in taste, if any, between traditional brewed coffee and k-cups? What are the advantages/disadvantages to both? I typically drink one cup per day if that makes a difference.
