Some of it involves strategic guessing if you don’t the answer, which just leads me to believe these tests are dumb if kids are taught this.
No, utilizing educated guesses doesn't mean that the test are dumb. You may not know the right answer, but knowing why three of the answers are definitely wrong is still knowledge and should be rewarded.
