All of the Towson elementary schools are very good. The middle and high schools are very large and approximately half of Ruxton families send their kids to private or parochial starting in middle.

Which house? There are a lot of micro climates in ruxton/west towson....

I believe some Ruxton kids go to Riderwood which is excellent. Former Blue Ribbon school. Some might also go to West Towson which is a newer school. There are also plenty of Ruxton kids in private school.

Hi all! Considering a move to the Ruxton/Western Towson area. Very unfamiliar with the schools. If you currently have children in these schools or are familiar with this area, I’d love to hear more about your experience. We are able to go the private school route but if schools but if the public schools are well regarded we are fine sending them there. Thank you!
