Many privates do not put other school's grades on their transcript. Yes for us we had to get from both schools.

DD’s private high school transcript includes her grades from the years she was in MCPS.

I’ve asked a couple colleges and if old school’s grades are on current transcript, they said that’s all they need.

Your private school should've received one at the time of admission. If not, ask them to reach out to the public scool's principle or counselor to expedite the process.

The graduating high school always sends the transcripts, correct.

The only one who wanted direct-from-each-school was University of Southern California. I don’t know if they still have that policy in place.

Wouldn't the transferred classes show on the private school transcript? Ask the current guidance counselor.

We bailed on our well-regarded public during Covid, and DC will graduate from private HS. Will they need to send transcripts from both HSs to every college they apply to? Is it difficult to get the transcript from the school you no longer attend because they are so busy with actual students?
