You keep posting this. Surely you can find a decent Democrat for every position, PP. It is morally wrong to vote for a member of the forced-birth, mass shooting GOP. At all local, state and federal levels, we need a blue wave to turn back decades of Republican encroachment. Abortion decisions have just be turned back to states. Do not make the mistake of thinking that your freedoms are safe in your state if Republicans are elected to any office.

The WTOP has good interviews. I only read them with the top three candidates, Wes Moore, Peter Franchot and Tom Perez. I was so bored and unenthused by Tom Perez. Wes Moore seems to be the progressive candidate, using social programs to help poor and underrepresented communities. Peter Franchot is the Comptroller, so he's very in tune with how government works and especially the budget. I decided to go with Wes because I believe in helping poor people. He ran a foundation with a budget of nearly $200million and has worked on a lot of legislature for the state. I'd like to see him as governor, but Peter is an old white dude and might win over the moderates, I think he'd be a safer bet against the republican. I'm taking a risk.

You don't have to vote along party lines either that is like wearing blinders.

Um, this is a primary election, so voting for candidates from one party is the point.

and they probably vote along party lines in the general elections as most people do

Franchot/Anderson-Walker for Governor/Lt. Gov.
Brown for AG
Brooke Lierman for Comptroller

I agree, although I think OP should research and form her own opinion for herself. Plenty of information out there without relying on random opinions from a internet message board.

Are you voting a D or R ballot?

Not asking who will win, but who with a realistic chance of winning is worthy of support?
Governor especially but other positions too. I’m in Baltimore so can’t vote in MoCo or PG and we are a laughing stock but take any advice…
