I have high arches. The pain is towards the inside, at the point where the heel ends and arch begins. The tender area overlaps both heel and beginning of arch.
It's most painful when I stand after sitting for a while. When I move around it gets more tolerable, but definitely not unnoticeable.
Yes I know if this persists I'll get it checked out, but I'm in the early Dr. Google/Dr. Internet phase to see if I can get insight before a doctor just tells me to rest.
NP- I definitely think that's PF!! Mine is right in the middle where my arch and heel hit.
You should stop running, start rolling your foot on a ball, more calf stretches (it's really from weak calves) and wear supportive shoes even indoors.
Mine is from pregnancy. I've had it for about 8 years. It flares up from time to time, but it's manageable. I don't think it will ever go away. When it's very, very bad I got steroids in my foot and that lasted for years.
