The advice above is correct. Moen is not great--lots of plastic. We have one Newport Brass faucet on our laundry sink and it's good quality. Other that that, there are mid-level Delta lines that are quite good as well.

Whatever has the most brass insides and not plastic is best.

Anyone have any insights? The internet is full of horror stories all around. Is there a brand that plumbers like best?
