Don’t worry I’m the same

I sent a thin comforter covered in an IKEA duvet with matching Sham pillow and DS favorite fleece.
There is no limit to the amount of bags
The girls like to decorate their cabins and many have fun bedding

It’s true it may not make it home and if it does it may be ruined but easy to replace
I like my kid to feel comfy in bed. (I also sent an eggcrate topper)

I went to camp in the Poconos and also worked there as a counselor. It can be cold if it rains and also in August, but most of the time it’s pretty warm, if not hot. Layering is best, with a top sheet, a blanket, and a sleeping bag to throw on top if necessary. If it were to get really cold, she can always put sweat pants and a sweat shirt on.

Other posters are right about sending old sheets and blankets that you don’t care about.

She’ll have a great time at camp. I had some of the most fun summers of my life there!

We bought this cotton waffle weave blanket for camp. She loves it. She also takes a sleeping bag to use as a comforter. It can get cold in the woods.

Fitted sheet, top sheet, sleeping bag, throw.

Mostly it'll be hot and they'll sleep under the top sheet and occasionally the throw. On rare occasions they'll need the sleeping bag

Just send a blanket you don't care about. They tend to get dirty and kind of musty. A comforter would be overkill but I have a boy so girls might bring different stuff.

Sorry, another post from a newbie. The camp is in the Poconos, abs it’ll be cool some nights and early mornings. I’m not sure that a comforter will fit in her duffel. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
