Peace out DCUM. I'm over the censorship.

Yeah they like to keep their echo chamber nice and tight here. My body, my choice - unless it’s sponsored by Pfizer

The Hill Preschool is mandating for next school year. If you don’t vaccinate you must present a doctor excuse. I know they have lost families over this.

No vaccine mandate right now, but daycare just reinstated a mask mandate a month ago. I got DS vaccinated on the first day available because I don’t want to mask or quarantine anymore.

Our preschool (not all day - just four hours) has set their policy for all to be vaccinated by the end of the year. I’m fine with it.

Covid has taken enough away from us over the last two plus years. I’ll continue to do everything in my power to keep us healthy and that includes vaccinating our 1.5 and 3.5 yr olds. My brother and his wife are both pediatricians and recommend vaccination as well as our very good pediatric practice. I’m not going to pretend to know more than them.

Yes, the kids have until January to be fully Covid vaccinated.

Yes but they didn’t set a timeline.

Yes, like all other vaccines but they are giving the kids until January.

Our preschool is on summer break for three weeks but I’m guessing they will mandate the vaccine. They did for the prek class when they turned five.

But if I’m understanding the Pfizer vaccine, it’ll be about three months before the last of the third vaccine is given so I think our school will give us a longer time to accomplish vaccine status.

Ours has it starting in the threes classroom, with the rationale that they would rather not return to masking if there is an outbreak this winter. I think it’s sensible.

Has anyones preschool jumped to mandate COVID vaccines for the under 5 set? Ours rushed to mandate and says they must all have had second shots by August 15. I’m really taken aback and hadn’t planned to rush to vaccinate my 3 year old. (We are a pro-vax household, my 6 year old is vaxd and so are SH and me). Wanted to see if other early childhood centers are doing the same. Seems an insane thing to do this early after the vaccine is even approved.
