Yes, we did it. Don’t know why it would be considered offensive.

Nope, it was real and it happened.

Yes - punch buggy! But, as someone said above, with siblings and close friends.

LOL…um, yes, if by “people” you mean kids in the backseat, and by “punch” you mean “light tap on the arm.”

This is maybe the most pathetic reach I’ve ever seen trying to make the whole Everything is Sensitive point. And that really is saying something. Stay bothered!

Would such a game be considered offensive in today's "everything is offensive" politically correct climate?

Yes! We played punch buggy and padiddle (punching each other at the sight of a car with one headlight). I had sore arms from my brother’s punches! I guess it was because we had no phones to entertain us, but I remember lots of car games.

That's because you were IN the bug--I guarantee someone who saw your car from a car said it

Not an urban legend.
We definitely did this growing up.

We also played Padiddle....one headlight of a car coming at you and you yelled paddidle and hit the ceiling of the car. As teens it would allow us to kiss someone else in the car.

Ha, yes - we did this in high school (in the midwest). Very mature.

Did people really used to do this or is this mostly urban legend?
