Assuming you are in that small PU below Langston, it's worth a try. It isn't listed on the transfer page, but all your neighbors will be at Cardinal.

They did targeted transfers to Cardinal for next year from certain planning units. Ones that are walkable but did not get zoned there. They said they would take those people until Cardinal was at full capacity. And Cardinal was already pretty close to full. It was a Tuckahoe planning unit and a Glebe planning unit I believe. I bet you could find details on the APS engage website.

I don’t know the policy for this upcoming year but in the recent past, parents could request transfer for certain schools based on enrollment. I doubt APS knows the numbers at this point. Can you call the school?

If I'm zoned for Nottingham but I'm much closer to Cardinal, is it possible to request a transfer?
