Because newly expectant parents should always research the laws relating to abortion before traveling because you never know when your life might be placed at risk due to miscarriage. Thankfully the women can be transferred to Spanish territory for necessary medical treatment. But by all means wallow in your cavalier smugness.


They absolutely should. You never want to be trapped somewhere where the laws are against you and you're facing death for that reason. And its not like they didn't know they were pregnant as they characterized this holiday as a 'babymoon' on social media.

Not to say 'I told you so' but as a liberal who realized the implications of entire regions of the U.S. banning abortions from conception, this is exactly what it looks like when the girl from Oklahoma can't afford to drive or fly 8 states away for a safe procedure.

This woman just happened to fly around the world and get trade on an island with the same laws.
