If you’re 1% at-fault, you’re not a victim. You’re a contributor to damages.

Not in CA.

Each driver can be assigned any percentage.

It likely depends on the rules of your state.

46 states do it that way. Maryland is one of only 4 states with this rule

Correct. It’s called contributory negligence. Just let the insurance companies fight it out. This is why you pay them.

Reading Maryland rules and it appears if want to collect from other vehicle that hits you has to be 100 percent other drivers fault. Even 99 percent other drivers fault not that enough. So is it rare to collect?
