I've heard of this happening elsewhere. Did you try to mix in some of your regular litter? You can also use pine pellets and change the pad more often (affordable if you use the Amazon basics) -- google this and you'll see tons of videos and blog posts. I did it until for about a year; it was fine.

Two of my cats LOVED it. My other cat would pee in it, but would not poop in it for anything. She'd go right next to it, so I had to switch back to nasty dusty clay for her, but kept Breeze for my other cats.

A young cat should be easy to transition. Just go slow.

You can buy replacement pads on Amazon that are much cheaper. I recommend rotating the pee tray daily when you scoop the poop. Some cats (like mine) pee in one corner only, so the pad & tray could overflow if I didn't stay on top of it. Put a waterproof pad underneath just in case. Minor issue compared to the alternative and it is just a learning curve for all involved. Overall I recommend it for ease, cleanliness, and convenience.

Love it. The pellets last FOREVER and you only need to change the pad once a week. Now, whether or not your cat will adjust to the pellets that's another thing. I've heard good and bad news on that but our cat did it with no problem whatsoever. We barely touch it and there's no smell. It's amazing and I've had cats my entire adult life.

We use Breeze and like it. We have two boxes of it. For some reason, the two cats like one box more and kind of ignore the other, but we keep them both clean and active. Neither cat had a big issue with the transition. A few pellets do come out of the box, but I find that much less obnoxious than clay litter being tracked everywhere. Clean-up is easy. It's important to stay on top of the pad on the bottom that absorbs urine. I would definitely get the hood with your boy cat because the box itself has pretty low sides. We get refills through Amazon subscribe and save.

I hated it. So did my cats.

Adore the breeze. Use it with my foster cats and so far so good. Possible downsides: your cat might not take to it, and it is a nuisance to clean up in case of diarrhea. The pellets and pads seem pricey, but in terms of cost per month it’s similar. Highly recommend.

i haven't tried the breeze system but i promise you the Slide litter from A&H is amazing. scoop regularly, of course - but when it's time to empty it out, it really does just slide out.

Nobody? Surely somebody has tried the breeze system?

Really looking for another litter option. Tired of the heavy, majorly dusty, constantly-spilling mess with the regular stuff, especially when cleaning out the litter box entirely from time to time.

We have one young cat with no bowel/pee issues. Would it be a good option for him? What are the cons to be aware of? Is it actually a pretty good system?
