The house is so small, there aren't a lot of places to go and we'll block things off. Otherwise good idea but 4 feet is basically most of the room when you with furniture. Thanks

That's exactly my plan. I was looking at HD and Lowes and other places to find what was cheapest. I don't want to leave it down forever but I don't want to stress over ruining the hardwood either. It seems like cheap protection as refinishing the floors was not fun. Thanks for the help!

Thanks! We have vinyl in the kitchen and I love it as its so easy to clean. I wasn't sure if it was worth spending the money for as I haven't seen a good deal but it seems easy then to just wipe up the mess/steam clean.

Yup -I have a roll of linoleum from Home Depot cut to size for my foster puppies. I roll it up and leave it in a corner between puppies.

Thanks. That is our plan but no roam in the kitchen or that would be ideal. Thinking of getting sheet vinyl for the living room and gating it off.

What is the best way to protect hardwood floors till dog is potty trained? Can moving blankets be used vs fabric pee pads? Sheet vinyl? Any creative ideas?
