For the competitive parents, maybe.
I had kids on both the A team and the B team on one of the most competitive NVSL teams. I hated every swim meet and went only for the kids. The parents were awful. I am so glad it's behind me.

I mean beats their time. Obv, your kid won't be swimming the A meet stroke at the B meet.
