Are advisor/teacher comments included on the transcripts that are sent to colleges? Or are just grades sent?

Just grades.

Teacher comments are conveyed through letters of recommendation, and presumably child won't select advisor as a recommender.

OP here, thank you!

Oh, and I ate lunch every single day in social studies of 9th grade. Used the pay phone outside the front office complete with having people answering it and taking messages (I convinced four freshman they could get extra credit for this) so much that they RIPPED THE PHONE OUT.

Still got into a good college. Nobody said a word to me about any of my HS shenanigans when I got there.
.

If there was a pay phone outside the front office this was decades ago. I think there was a lot less pressure on us than the current generation. Getting into good colleges is way harder now and way more competitive now. Just getting through HS and all the advanced classes that are needed to show sufficient rigor for admission to good colleges is way harder now.

I spent much of HS day dreaming, was often late or not paying attention and just studied for a couple of weeks before exam week. I also got into the two good colleges I applied to. That is simply not possible for my children.

What does "made myself" mean?

No. It’s a transcript. Not the full report card.

My kid is rising sophomore at a Big3. Grades are decent but his/her advisor wrote a comment about things to work on over the summer and this is quite negative. She/he is a hard ass (which we generally like).
