That’s what I was thinking too— sounds like you might still be in the old house when course registration happens even?

We just found out that we will be moving next Spring. Our new home will be within the same MCPS cluster (same high school, different middle school). My DC will be in 7th grade when we move; my assumption is that he can stay in his current middle school through that school year without any problem. Is there any hope that we can get a COSA so he can stay at his current middle school in 8th, so he doesn’t need to switch schools for one year? While obviously a kid *could* manage this type of a change, I’d love to avoid disrupting him during his final year of middle school, especially after all of the upheavals of the last two years. He’s a super shy kid with few friends but no academic or behavioral issues FWIW. The the two middle schools in question are both in the BCC cluster.
