Get them a backpack for entertainment on plane and change of clothes, put their other clothes with yours

The last time we travelled, we used one of these for our 3 year old, and it was great for navigating around the airport. https://microkickboard.com/products/luggage-eazy-config

We got my niece this one https://www.stokke.com/USA/en-us/travel/jetkids/5345.html?dwvar_5345_color=99&cgid=39721&gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhqaVBhCxARIsAHK1tiPQ-UTZLFJ8X1mN6UBociT60JMmXNKmSQ7hw2wzqHQKMjf7jA26Zf0aAvRcEALw_wcB#start=1

When she was three and she liked riding it while being pulled, and later pulled it herself. This was a few years back though and now some airlines don’t allow them in the seat which was the whole point (and made for such a good flight experience we recommended them to people…)

Do you have one?

Np with two older kids. My kids couldn’t handle having their own rolling suitcases until they were maybe 7.. They get distracted, they don’t pay attention, they run people over, drop the handles, they are SLOW. Get them backpacks.

7?! Holy crap, mine have all gotten them when they've turned 3, with no problems. Forget getting them backpacks, get better kids!

Yes!! This is a great analogy.

Not for a toddler. It will slow them down.

We got one and returned it when DD fell off it in our house.

Airports are insanely crowded right now.

Some of them are so cute, but don't fall for it. It's just a hassle on vacation. We've found that the most space efficient procedure is to merge everyone's stuff together and use backpacks when they're little, then for the kids to carry their own backpacks.

I would use a stroller.
