I was also on the fence and also went with Hubbard bc something about Parker just rubs me the wrong way. I think they’re both probably good choices but when in doubt, I went with the mom.

They both seem pretty solid. I would probably vote for Parker if I lived in Ward 5 but it would be close. I don't think he is another Nadeau or Allen, who seem idealistically progressive in a do-nothing sort of way. Parker seems more along the lines of JLG- progressive but responsive.

I met Hubbard and she appears genuine and most importantly she’s a mom.

Cosign. I hope there are more of us. I give full credit to his hustle, his getting out early and his organization, but something about it just feels inauthentic.

Parker is Nadeau 2.0

I voted for Hubbard. This year it's all about voting as a parent. She's a parent and I like her positions.

Parker is just another Nadeau or Allen.

Hubbard seems like a good person. Hope to see her around in the future regardless of what happens.

I also voted for Hubbard. Something just seems off to Parker. He just says what people want to hear.

I was deciding between Parker and Hubbard, and Parker's swing to "if other people don't drop out Orange is going to win" all over social media has been gross. I think I'm solidly coded in their database as a Parker supporter, but I early voted for Hubbard on Sunday and feel really good about it. She's deep in the community, has real ideas and endorsements, but more importantly, has led with her passion as a Mom and citizen and not trading up politician.
