Subject: Door Dash literally wouldn't let me check out
I used to work on carts for a retail website.
It’s tough to plan ahead for those kinds of things. But if they know about it, they might fix it for a future person.
Otoh they might not have fixed it bc they know and they can’t do it without blowing up the cart code.

Subject: Door Dash literally wouldn't let me check out
I tried to place a pickup lunch order from DoorDash. Apparently I had $16 in credits it automatically applied to my order. That left $0.20 ... which I tried to pay ... but the minimum order is $0.50. There was no way to remove the credit (or just apply part of it), add a tip, or in any other way circumvent the checkout process. I wasn't going to add food I didn't want to my order just to be able to check out. So...I closed the app and ordered directly from the restaurant. Which is probably what I should have done in the first place. I don't know why I felt the need to share. Feeling silly today. Happy Monday.
