Like many things, it depends. I think the prices at Great Wall are good for things like noodles, tea, snacks, dumplings….
I shop at different stores for different things. I also consider the time and travel costs as part of the package, so, sometimes it makes sense to get my cilantro and fish sauce at Whole Foods — because the travel time and costs are very low for me vs Great Wall or Hana Market.
I also look for the coupons for Amazon Fresh — which can be great. If I get $20 off of a $40 purchase and buy things on sale and things that rarely go on sale, it’s worth a trip, even though it’s not a store where I can easily do all of my weekly shopping.

H Mart has gotten really expensive. First with the pandemic, then with inflation.

Great Wall (GW) is cheaper for veggies than H Mart or Lotte. I shop in several places for different things as DH and I are from two different Asian countries and we both are avid cooks. One of my kids have food sensitivities so we are very careful about getting mostly organic foods.
