I'm torn about my trip to Canada next week. On the one hand, it's way less hassle to have to run around getting a test before leaving, but I also liked knowing that everyone on my flight had tested negative...

It's enforced at boarding. Any flight boarding after 12:01 AM EDT Sunday will not have this requirement.

What does this mean if you are leaving Australia on Monday but it is still Sunday at Lax at that instant? Is it the time in the USA (iad?lax? Honolulu???) when the plane departs the foreign country or the time in the foreign country??? We are affected by this lack of clarity.

My insurance reimbursed them because they were prescribed (and/or because it was before my insurance had set up the way to get tests with no up front cost so they had to pay full-freight, not just $12/per, because I ordered them 1/15/22). I had to appeal the denial, but I got payment in full.
