So is there really a 5/6 curriculum ? Like compact math . Because with eureka how MCPS structure the 5/6 math ? Any idea ?

I would presume no news is good news and they are only going to tell current 4/5 families if their kid isn’t going on to 5/6. You could ask the teacher if you want to confirm your kid will be continuing on.

They won't circulate it. Do any teachers here know if, after last year's uproar regarding new 5/6 standards, they are doing it again this year. (Secretly to avoid more parental uproar?)

For parents of MS students, when did your ES do placement for math 5/6? Was that announced after the end of the math 4/5 school year, or late in the summer, or something else?
DC is doing fine but not stupendous in 4/5 and will probably be able to handle 5/6 just fine. But if the ES reduces the size of the class, I would assess that DC might be selected as a candidate for slowing down. I honestly am fine either way (I'd rather have DC reach their individual math potential at the right pace, whatever that pace is), but DC will just want to know because of friends in classes.
