Incoming Freshman is SJC my a mile. I don’t know why these kids go to schools like SJC to just play their Senior year.
Best incoming freshman pulled out of PVI and headed to reclass at Prep after turning down GZ. One of the top attackers sophomore attackers left Landon and is headed to St Johns. Bullis has the best overall class of 25s especially on defense since there are 10-11 of the DCE 25 team playing at Bullis, but really only 2-3 played any real minutes as freshmen. Could be special by the time they are seniors but lots of growing to do. At mid and attack for both the 24 and 25s, the talent is really spread pretty evenly across the IAC and WCAC for next season.

Bold prediction, SJC will be the top team again. However, they will lose a game to a DMV team. Top teams in the IAC: Prep, Bullis, Landon, SSSAS, top teams in the WCAC: SJC, Gonzaga, Dematha, PVI and SJC will be the strongest team aside from them almost any team can beat any other team on any given game. Collectively the DMV teams will be stronger than the MIAA teams in 2023.
I still think it's a bit pre-mature as some programs will hit the HS transfer portal this summer and some programs are trying to find out if some of their star players are even eligible to play next Spring.
Early pre-season rankings for 2023
1. Bullis
2. SJC
3. Prep
4. Gonzaga
5. Landon
6. St Albans
7. St Stephens
8. PVI
9. DeMatha
10. Episcopal
Expect to see even more parity next Spring across the privates listed above. I don't see one team being totally dominant like we witnessed with SJC this Spring.
