Just following up on this. He has bad acne right now and its really hard to do the regular razors around the acne. I thought electric might be better.

+1. My 17 year old DS still uses this, and my 3 nephews- 23, 19 and 16 use it too.

Another dumb question- mom here. I read about this razor recommended. It says it is for men who wear some facial hair- stubble, etc.
When my teen son needs to shave, he doesn’t want a stubble look. Does this razor really work for teen boys just to tidy up above their lip occasionally?

I don’t know. He looks pretty clean shaven to me. He doesn’t have to use it too often. Maybe when the stubble comes in like my husband, he’ll have to move to a regular blade with shaving cream like my DH.

this is not a good razer for face unless you want a short beard/5 o'clock shadow look or want to shave private areas

I bought electric razors for both of my sons when they began shaving. I believe I bought them at Target.

Yes, I thought electric ones weren’t as good as old school for your skin?

Why not just let him use a regular razor and cream? It isn’t that hard. Did you ever need to use an electric razor on your legs?

DH has never used one so he's useless. DS has bad acne so it seems ab electric razor might be better than a regular one.
