Are they really young? Those activities get old fast and they want to see friends on the weekends. We stopped the regular family hikes and museums by around 2nd grade.
This is what I was thinking. That was my idealized version of what our family would spend weekends doing, but it didn't last and there really aren't enough of those activities to fill the time.
