Subject: What movie do you love which would never be made today?
Tropic Thunder is one of the funniest movies of all time. I always bust a gut laughing during that opening scene.

Bad News Bears.
My dad loved that so it's oddly sentimental to me. Watched it my kids about a decade ago and had to keep pausing to explain why certain things are not appopriate.

NONE of the movies we enjoyed decades ago are made today. Not the screwball comedies, not the big legal dramas, not the feel-good coming of age movies, not the romantic comedies. All we have is awful fantasy/animated/marvel movies. Apparently they are popular in oversees markets and so they keep making them.
